Welcome to my place ...

After reading about Ted and Bunny's little moment of 'just doing nothing' it made me think about my special little place, my guilty pleasure, my secret hideaway ...

My shed!  Originally intended as extra space for my Mr as our cottage is so teeny, but gradually it was overtaken by me.  However, I did wait until he had plasterboarded it and put in electricity and made it less 'sheddy' before I started lodging!  Eventually, he conceded and I took over the keys and helped him move his things into our little office indoors.  A fair swap methinks.  So, would you like to come in?

I love to spend a little thinking time in here with a magazine and a cup of tea but why do I always feel so guilty?  I know that we all deserve a break but I feel as though I should constantly be doing something useful.  It's a perfect suntrap in the afternoon - we sometimes both come out here in the cooler spring and autumn evenings with a glass of wine because it stays beautifully warm.  I have a large pile of reading and reference material ...

and a comfy place to sit ...

Peace - It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work.  It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm in your heart.  Anon

PS:  I meant to post about wild garlic again and the new recipes I have tried out but seem to have lost the photos!  Suffice to say, I tried the pesto and it was strong enough to blow your wig off.  I will do it again but use at least half the amount of wild garlic.  I used walnuts instead of pine nuts and they worked really well.

Oh my! What a lovely place to spend a little 'me' time :o)
I popped over for a look around after reading your comment on Ted & Bunny - no such thing as 'baggy knees' he must need his eyes testing LOL.
I'm liking what I see and will be back ....
Best wishes
