... she went shopping and returned with
the prettiest fabrics, tablecloths and cushions ...
A wooden hand painted fan shaped wall hanging ...
and hand painted tray ...
an oil on canvas ...
the dinkiest little drawers and teeny child sized metal shoe lasts ...
hair nets, some made from real human hair!
A 'family' of wooden lasts ...
covered in written instructions and measurements ...
Beautifully tactile.
and two battered cutlery trays, which she sanded, waxed and lined.
One with pretty rosy quilted fabric ...
and the other with a music sheet cover, aged with a coat of wax.
You can mount these on the wall ... they make great little shelves!
All will be coming to upcoming fairs.

So lovely vintage treasures!
I didn't know they used to use real hair for hair nets - aaah! Great idea for the cutlery trays but my favourite find - the painted tray. Looking forward to seeing what you do with the drawers! Jane x

I am swooning over the fabrics and the lined cutlery tray. Something about those old prints gets to me. And the children's shoe lasts and the ones that are marked up--so poignant! And those hair nets--Wonderful finds!

That's a really clever idea to line the cutlery tray with a music sheet. Love it, and the shoe lasts too.

This is just great Jane, the only thing that I'm not sure of here is the hair nets haha but everything else is amazing, this lady did a good shop! :)
The table cloth in the top left hand corner of the first picture, I have that one. Its my absolute favourite, every so often I get it out and think about cutting it up and then put it away again.
