Dust ...

Plaster and concrete dust seems to have infiltrated every room in the house!
The bathroom renovations have required lots of
jack hammering of concrete and cutting of plasterboard,
all done inside due to the foul stormy weather.
VJ can write her name in the dust on every surface!

The narrow hallway is the only area that has escaped
the inevitable mess and accumulated clutter that redecoration generates ...
The bathroom door, new loo, sink
and sink cupboard are all sitting in the kitchen.
Boots and bags and everything else from the utility area outside the bathroom
has infiltrated the bedroom along with toiletries and towels.
She is saving the gorgeous candle from her bestie
for her first bubble filled dip in a proper bathroom.
She can't wait!

Oh no.... I feel for you. We are going to have our bathroom done later this year. I hope your results justify the pain....

It is amazing how the "stuff" seems to be everywhere when you are doing any work to your home isn't it. It WILL be worth it when it is done though, just focus on the bath and that lovely candle! xx

How long will it take? It is amazing where all that dust appears from! You clear it up and turn around and it looks just as dusty as before. You will really enjoy using that lovely candle when it is complete! Sarah x

I remember the dust from when our house was rewired, and that was years ago! It WILL get cleaned and you will be so happy with your new bathroom and it will all have been worth it!

Ugh plasterboard and concrete dust is awful. No matter how hard you try to minimise the mess it just goes everywhere. It will be worth it in the end though when you relax in the lovely new bath.

Hang in there. It will be worth it, I know it doesn't feel like it at the time!

Ooh jelly mould candle! I have loads of vintage jelly moulds - can never get the jelly out, wonder if I'd be any luckier with wax...?

I feel for you! We're having some work done to our house this summer, a wall knocked out, and I'm dreading the dust! It'll be worth it in the end though :)

Oh, poor you. It is one of those times where all you can do is close your eyes and try to rise above it :-)
