There is mud ...

... wherever they try to walk!

Boot sucking,
squelching mud.
They moved to higher ground,
but the earth was still sodden.
Rain clouds bore down on them,
faster than they could walk.
Wind beaten and soaked through,
they abandoned and headed home,
for hot chocolate and monopoly!
A trip to the coast the following day,
was a little more successful!

Mud, mud, glorious mud, nothing quite like it for cooling the blood...Or is it warming the blood?

We are struggling to find dry places to walk, Tavi gets so dirty on his walks. That was a good idea going to Weymouth, I don't know why we didn't think of that! Sarah x
