Tales of walking, eating, watching and playing. Vintage treasures and simple pleasures ... the things that make her happy.

After waiting for fifteen long years ...

... she is going to have a proper bathroom!
New bath and loo waiting in a neighbour's garage,
boxes of tiles sitting in the hallway,
sink sitting on the kitchen table.
She will be able to have a proper shower,
and there will be heating underfoot -
the only room in the house with proper heating!
To say she is excited would be an understatement!!

Good luck with that! we've had the builders since October with an extension and much as I appreciate what they've done, I'll be glad to have the house to myself again... it's all worth it in the end though isn't it. x

Oh I know that one! Can't wait to see your new bathroom.
Ours is getting there, ours is a twenty-five year wait.

It took us many years to get a shower too and now we wouldn't be without one. It will be worth that long wait! Sarah x

ooh yours is a bit further on than mine. Hopefully the new wooden floor boards and new walls will be complete on mine tomorrow so then they can bring in the bath and suite. I'm so ready for it. Getting a sponge bath from the jam pot has lost its novelty factor now.
