Time to breathe ...

As the sun rises it seems the sun sets.
Her time passes flash fast.
Her night buzzes with bright flickers of a day gone,
And another yet to come.
Ticks in boxes and jobs done.

Her nest has become prickly.
They escape briefly,
And occasionally.
Enjoying it all the more.
For the freedom it gives them,
From tedium and chore.

On the page this week.
A square of time
Just for them, her man and her boy,
In a downy nest.
A little time for softer,
curve edged thoughts.

Some breathing space.

Quirky display spotted outside a bar near Soho last weekend,
before they attended the soft launch of the new
Ivy Restaurant in Covent Garden with a group of lovely friends.

Take some breath, with the piece, feel each second in the heart.

What beautiful heartfelt writing... I know what you mean about time going fast, I've found it quite frightening recently. x

Beautiful Poem and Amazing photographs! Breathing space and down time is necessary in life or we will literally lose our minds! Taking slow time at Christmas, I personally think, is a great time to re-collect your thoughts and enjoy what we have around us, and truly love those around us. Much love to you my friend and Merry Christmas! Tammy x
