Up with the lark to see the kiss in the nearby village of Ilchester.
Enjoying the atmosphere with friends, neighbours and strangers.
That evening they ate at their favourite restaurant on the Bristol harbourside and saw the torches kiss again.
Their table afforded a ringside view.
The city was in party mood.
A "drunk on sunshine, olympically hopeful and jubilee celebratory" party. 
They watched. And enjoyed.
They went on to party with Elvis.
Later they watched the lights on the water from their hotel balcony, listening to the singing and laughter of late night revellers.
Breakfasting in Clifton.
A wander up to the Suspension Bridge and along the Royal York Crescent ...
Reputedly, the longest crescent in Europe.
They chose their (in their dreams) house ...

Sounds like you had a wonderful time! I imagine all of England is excited about the Olympic games. Lunch looks deLish and the view gorgeous. Although, I must admit that I am afraid of heights so this would be a no go for me! HA ~
What a fabulous time you've had! It gives ne the eeby-jeebies going UNDER the suspension bridge, I cannot imagine what it's like from the top.
