We saw Santa (but he didn't fool us) ...

Early morning, still in pyjamas, waiting to see Santa.
Misty station, train puffing, chugging slowly, belching smoke, belly full of fire.  Anticipation on little faces, pink button noses pressed to the windows.
Waiting in line.  It's snowing inside!!!
Our turn next ...
"He was good, but he wasn't the real one - you could see his beard strings mummy" - you can't fool my little man!
Home for a hot chocolate and movie night, but first we need to decorate our little tree in the kitchen ...
Remembering when our little man was a tiny baby ...
Put out our nativity set (bought on honeymoon on Peru)

Hang up our stockings ..

and wrap a few presents ...

Sun setting, candles lit, snuggling, watching the Borrowers.

Loving this day.

All looking very festive! Your wrapping looks very sumptuous and I'm lusting after your musical paper as I have been on the look out for some for the last couple of months (mind you I hardly ever go shopping so it's not surprising I haven't found any!) Hope you had fun with The Borrowers!

All your decorations look wonderful. I especially love the nativity scene, that will no doubt become a family heirloom to be passed on from generation to generation, lovely.

Sounds like a wonderful day. We took Isabella to see Santa and the line was so long she didn't want to stay! Imagine that! This was after she had had ice cream and a little trip the "Claire's" (a girl's shop that carries nothing but jewelry, barrettes, hair thingy's etc.)

When she is in there it's as though she IS in Santa's shop!!!

Children do make Christmas more special. And they give us a chance to revisit our own childhood too on days like the one you had.
Your presents are beautifully wrapped, and with such care and attention to detail too.
I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas.

So funny, my littlest man said " but Mummy Father Christmas looked just like Jenna's Daddy" after going to see him at the school fair. Oh well win some loose some.

I see you are full fling in the xmas thing!

When I was a kid I went to see Santa and he took off his beard to drink some alcohol.

To all Santa's out there don't drop out of character, the kids are counting on you...

LOL

Sending Wishes for a great New year for you and your family.
