Spotted from afar ...

 ... a hat box.
She lifts the lid and scoops it up when she finds it full to the brim with millinery trims ...
They will be coming with her to ...
... can't wait!

Visiting Devon where my husband grew up (we're coming from Canada). May look for you at the Vintage in the vintage hall show. I check out your blog from time to time. I'm a Jane too - and I love Vintage>
