Together time

Two days in Bristol provided a very welcome break
from the tedium of work and the constant battle with their tiny but old
and time consuming house.

They walked the harbour,
Joined an archaeological dig.
Stopped by a Warhammer painting workshop (little man’s latest obsession!),
And dawdled in favourite bookshops.
The Aquarium provided a haven from the cold,
They were fascinated by the beauties and the beasts of the deep.

The Giant Pacific Octopus … you are encouraged to let him follow your fingers,
Apparently he likes to play!

Ethereal jellyfish and anenomes.
Shark watching.
and finding Nemo ...
At the M Shed they enjoyed the displays of ‘Bristol Life’,
both old and new ...
They relaxed tense muscles in the hotel spa,
They dined out and drank wine and watched Masterchef in their supersized bed.
They played ‘don’t step on the cracks’,
and walked the streets, holding hands, the family of three.
Heading home, a fiery display welcomed them back to their Somerset Levels.

Super photos as usual! We must include Bristol in our Our list of places to visit. I think some parts of ITV's wonderfully creepy Broadchurch is filmed nearby - great atmosphere.
