Hello Marina:
It is indeed the most wonderful of images, not only on account of the deer but also those atmospheric, softly hued, winter colours which sweep across the entire picture.

What a fab photo and how lucky to be in the right place at the right time to witness it and have a camera at hand to capture it!

Marina,

What a fabUlous photo Mrs. Crooked House took! I've never seen deers prancing! I love deer's and just hate the thought of deer hunting season. I used to work with some guys who went deer hunting and I used to give them a really hard time about it. I don't know how anyone could look into the eyes of a deer and kill it! Sigh...

It's a miracle to imagine that there is even such a thing as wildlife anymore. Thank you for this! Catching up, your holidays looked full of joy. Happy New Year!

Shame on me I did not know your name was Marina!
I love pretty deer with their white tails...how on earth anyone shoots them is beyond me.
