A few new finds...

... that will be coming to the 3rd Buttercross Vintage Market on the Saturday 28th April.

A dressmaker's gown measurer
Lovely set of cobbler's lasts
An old wooden cash register
Memories of Mrs Slocombe, Mr Humphries et al asking, "are you being served"!
The bell rings as the drawer is opened ...
Lots more gorgeous buttons
Stacks of vintage sewing patterns
Gold painted plasterwork convex mirror
Players Navy Cut cigarette tins and the sweetest little matchbox holder/candlestick combo.

Great Mackeson crate
  Miniature crib

Wooden 'Victory' puzzle showing the Industrial Life of England & Wales
Somerset ... home of agriculture, helicopters, gloving, cider and cheese.
... and lots, lots more - vintage and antique clothing, cards handmade with scraps of vintage textiles and buttons, cup candles, linens, lace ...

These three are to be given a makeover this week.  Painting, lining and reupholstering ...
Annie Sloan paint is at the ready.
The market is again to be held in the Parish Rooms in Somerton and there will also be the added bonus of stallholders on the cobbles outside who will be selling a tempting range of gardenalia, outside furniture, plants and brocante.  AND ... across the road there will also be stalls under the Buttercross itself!  Built in 1673, the landmark Buttercross is the hub of this lovely little market town and has been the location for regular markets throughout its long history.

you've found some great stuff! I love the pheasant patter on the footstool, if you're reupholstering you ought to keep it xxx

Great stash of goodies! I love the cash register and can't wait to see your re-dos using Annie Sloan Chalk Paint! I just finished painting the frame of a chalkboard with ASCP, Antebbes Green. A quick sand and wax and it was ready for the white linen cover bordered with rick-rack trim that I made to tack over the cork board. V~O~L~I~A I have an inspiration board. I just posted about it!

Amazing finds Jane, I especially love the crib but there's so many awesome items involved it's honestly quite tough to find a clear cut favourite, great photos.

Some lovely bits and pieces there - especially like the cigarette tins! I loved Are You Being Served on tv - one of my all time fav programmes!
