Snapshots of Bridport Vintage Market

A few snapshots of a lovely day.  Not many, as it was too busy most of the time to even think about photos.   I will not pretend to be a photographer.  Just memories of loveliness taken with a cheap little camera!

They bought presents

Ate delicious pizza

Colours, textures, music and bustle

Vintage Jane!

Need to make more cup candles ...

... and cards

Big red bus!

Rummage in a van

Originality, beautifully made

Rain stopped play briefly early on but the sun soon shone on smiling faces.

Short post - time is evading me.  I am chasing it, but it keeps running away ...

Hi Jane,

Thanks so much for your comment on my blog on my chair re-do. Gosh, it was really a job! BUT, I have started buffing the wax on the chairs and they are starting to look even better. (And that's without having a nip of something strong) LOL

I really like your blog and have added you to my blog roll and became a follower so as not to miss any more of your delightful posts!

Thanks so much for liking shabby/grey/faded/worn looking chairs! LOL

Thank you for these photos - the market looks great fun. I've been meaning to visit all summer but always had other things on. Will def try to go on 30th October. May enquire about a stand as it's the day after The Vintage Bazaar in Frome and my car will be full of vintage. May see you there!

I am glad you did take pictures. Who needs a great camera!! That giant toffee tin, my grandmother used to have one like that filled with shiny richly wrapped toffees. You know we people in the USA love shots of red double decker buses. These photos are a shots of life and time.
