Synchronised Ironing

They both had ironing to do, Mrs Slovak and her.  Mrs Slovak had a mountain ... far, far too much.  It was a task so daunting she didn't know where to start.  Then Mr VJ had an idea ... "go get your ironing, go get your iron - I'll cook us a barbeque, I'll open some wine.  You two can iron in the warmth of the sun".  They made it a party, they pressed and they steamed, they laughed and had fun, and now ... the ironing's all done!

I have never ironed in the garden, have taken it baby sitting in the past, never had the joy of ironing with a friend! I do iron watching a film though! I start when the film starts and finish when the film finishes unless I have beaten the film finishing the ironing first!

A wee glass of wine and some sunshine can make the most mundane task seem much nicer!

It's the way forward, I think you've spawned a new trend......I've got a massive pile to do, I'll wait till reasonable o'clock and crack open a bottle and get on with it.
Tip top!

What a great idea, although I don't iron, the MR does his own work shirts, bliss. Did you have much interest in the Hudson sign, I love it.
