Did anyone see this in last weekend's Observer?
They are a few of the works from 'Fashion in Leaves',
a collection by a 24 year old Malaysian graphic designer called Tang Chiew Ling.
She combines graceful ink drawings with a combination of flowers,
leaves and decaying organic matter.
Ling said "I realised withered leaves could be so beautiful.
It just depends on how people see them."

It's so difficult to come up with anything new these days isn't it... but I've never seen anything like this before, they are fab! Julie x
Inspiring! They are like a grown-up version of Cicely M. Barker's Flower Fairies.
Aren't they amazing? I saw the pictures on Pinterest last week. Will now have to go and look up the Observer article.

Incredible! I hadn't seen these so I'm delighted you shared. x
Jane,
These drawings are beautiful! I would have never thought to use flowers, leaves and decaying organic matter as a dressing for the ink drawings. They are absolutely gorgeous.
How are you, little man, and big man doing? Is the weather still nice or is it starting to look like fall there? It is still very warm here...just like summer. We have finally seen the end of what was an extremely wet summer. Total rainfall for the year- to-date is 84 inches of rain! Now that is a lot of water! LOL
