Borrowing shelter ...

... from evening breeze.
Eating salty chips and crispy fish.
 For a while,
the beach belonged only to them,
and a cluster of gulls.
She watched her men,
skimming pebbles.
Her little man growing so fast.

I've just ate my dinner and yet I still feel like I'm in a serious mood for delicious fish and chips after reading this post. I love this Jane, you have such a serene and calm life, I wish I had some of that, some of your very admirable personality traits.

A lovely poem to continue my day of reading poetry, writing, and musing; my favorite things to do. Have a lovely evening! Anita

What is it with men and stone throwing into the sea. I have so many photos of mine doing that over the years. And why do fish and chips taste so much nicer when you are at the seaside? Answers on a postcard please! Julie x

Lovely photos. They do grow up so fast don't they?

Are you in a beach hut? Eating fish and chips by the seas sounds lovely. And your seas gulls are enormous, compared to our Australian littlies :)

Enjoy your weekend, Tam x
