Thank you to the Crooked House Crew
for a fab evening of fun, mad dad dancing,
delicious nibbles and the best company.
They were invited to arrive on New Year's Eve "wearing a hat at a jaunty angle".
The VJ's forgot ... doh!
But very soon VJ was precariously balancing
this high rise beauty on her head.
Crafted by the amazing Lash Queen ...
Lash Queen's man arrived 'inside' a hat ...
... no, those are not his feet.
There was a little hat swapping going on!
Caps and stetsons, bowlers and toppers.
The next day the Crooked House revellers were joined by their little ones,
and all were spoilt with a 5* hotel style brunch courtesy of Mr & Mrs Fruit.
Crispy bacon sandwiches, sausages, crumpets and pots of tea
soon cleared their woolly heads.
And to work off their excesses - a long walk ...
... with a muffin and fizzy pop stop along the way.
Perfect!

As they headed home,
three deer pranced across the field in front of them.
Mrs Crooked House declared,
"it's a sign, 2013 is going to be a good year" ...

It looks like everyone had a great time. Love the hat! I have to laugh every time I see all the mud everyone is wearing. Hah
I didn't make Toad-In-The-Hole on New Year's Day... I purchased the wrong sausage and I was afraid it would be greasy so we will try it soon with some better sausage!

Indeed it is. We have a "costume affair" planned for my Hubby's 40th this year. We are even employing a judging panel and giving out prizes.. this has already motivated the more competitive members of our family!
