Inspired by the Anthony Gormley installation at Barrington House,
Paul the Potter is holding workshops at the Barrington Pottery.
The intention is to make a 'Field for Somerset' in one of the barns.
They are aiming for 1000 little clay people by this Thursday
(on Sunday morning they were at approx 700)
Everyone is given the same size piece of clay and the same instructions,
but they are all so different.
And, there's been a bit of lovin' going on ...

We Very nearly gave in to the mirror, just didn't have a spot for it.
Beautifully restored frame and I do remember the post about the "funny little guys". Also, the boot too! It's coming along fabulously. I can't wait to see the finished results on this one. :)

OMG! Those little clay people are so adorable. I'm completely awed by how they are made to look like. I can't believe that there are a thousands of them.
