Tuscan Rain

Through an open window ...
she smells rain on drop soaked, sun baked earth.
Cloud envelops their mountain. 
A swirling cloak of misty breath, 
dancing, a whirligig.
From the valley below smoky rain plumes rise.
Thunder crack, rain slap,
lightning strike and grumbles.
They do not mind.
The weather moves quickly on their mountain.
They read books they have wanted to read for a long time ...
Until the sun returns ...

    Jane it looks like a gorgeous day! I don't mind the rain when I'm on holiday, I still go out in it, even though I probably look a dork! The views from that window were breathtaking! I'd love to visit Tuscany! Lucky girl!
