Mundane or Martian??!
VJ rarely reads her horoscope,
(she is a shy, boring, sensible, unemotional goat, apparently!)
she cursorily salutes the odd Magpie
and avoids walking under ladders for health & safety reasons only ...
What will be will be ...
OMG I want this! Is it for sale? Pls email me if so. Cx
ReplyDeleteA mundane face - I love it! What a great book.
ReplyDeleteI don't ever read my horoscope, such nonsense - but isn't it odd that I always get on especially well with fellow fire signs despite my scepticism? x
What a fantastic book! Just in time for hallowe'en! x
ReplyDeleteI THINK this is the book my friend and I used to giggle over while lying in the sun on the cliffs behind her seaside home - we'd study our palms and worry about the length of our life lines. Now the sad bit - hers was long & well defined, but she died at 19...
ReplyDeleteIt is all fun but it is nonsense too.
1930's?
ReplyDeleteI think I would like to have a read of that book just to compare it to what we think of all that spooky stuff now days! Good time to read that book... Near Halloween!!
I love old books, My oldest is about 120 years old!
Tammy x

Is there really such a word as Jupiterian?! I don't read my horoscope but do seem to have traits attributed to my star sign. I do also get on best with other water signs, so am not completely sceptical Julie x
ReplyDeleteI had to look up the word mundane...
ReplyDeleteIt said...'Of this world..Worldly'.
(News to me).
But! Yep! I love ALL this fortune, spells, omens, superstitions etc!
It's a big thing in Sicily...There are loads of things you do~~or don't do at certain times! Life surrounds it!
And, it ALL comes from facts...From the past!!!
I do love an old book find... my favourite find is" How to live with a neurotic dog" great drawings!! Cx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant!! x
ReplyDeleteA book like this would have me enthralled for hours. I am exceedingly superstitious though. X
ReplyDeleteRD agrees with VJ. Fun book though!

I have spent some time studying the facial types indicated. But realise i am so distracted by their hairstyles that I have no idea if I am mundane or not!
ReplyDeleteWrite your own horoscope, so much more fun.
ReplyDeleteToday you will be fabulous for the eighth consecutive day. Everyone will be ogling the outfit you put together so beautifully this morning agreeing that you really are the bees knees.
See, if mystic Meg can make it up, so can we:) Simples!
What a fantastic book, a very lucky find!
ReplyDeleteAhh thank goodness... somebody else who salutes magpies, my arm goes up and down like a yoyo every time I take the dog for a walk in the park.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I am tres jealous of this find. I actually have one simular from the 30's but the graphics aren't as good as this one. xx
