Autumn ...

... is creeping in.
She carried a squash home,
to dice and boil,
dip in flour, egg and breadcrumbs,
and fry until golden.
Beautiful flowers from her 'bestie',
coloured with Autumn.
Cords and forgotten shoes pulled from the depths of the wardrobe.

Driving home from work into the sunset last night,
she felt the season turning.

  1. There's something very mushroom-like about a white gourd. I like it.
