She carried a squash home,
to dice and boil,
dip in flour, egg and breadcrumbs,
and fry until golden.
Beautiful flowers from her 'bestie',
coloured with Autumn.
Cords and forgotten shoes pulled from the depths of the wardrobe.
Driving home from work into the sunset last night,
she felt the season turning.
There's something very mushroom-like about a white gourd. I like it.

It really is drawing in I put the blanket back on the bed last night and it was nice to snuggle under the extra weight along with the sheets.I might have to try that recipe I like squash. If you ever decide to get a dog pleaseeeeeee get a greyhound they make the most wonderful pets :-) I don't know if I am going to the vintage at the village hall fair yet my own fair I organise is on the 12th October. Depends if my other half is working as I see its a Monday and I don't drive sadly will see what I can do :-) Stay cosy, dee xx

No Autumn weather here yet - still feels like summer so far. Looking forward to some crisp coolness.
