Sometimes everything seems like an uphill struggle,
the summit ever further out of reach.
Christmas loses it's meaning,
in a frenzy of consumerism.
Take time out,
climb a hill or two ...
Stand at the top,
exhale ...
and eat cake ...

Have fun at Christmas.
Hold your loved ones close.
Wishing you all a very happy, healthy, fun and love filled 2016!
You too Marina and family.xx
ReplyDeleteNice one, Jane! As usual. Love the shots of Glastonbury Tor too. Have a wonderful Christmas and all the very best for 2016.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree about the consumerism and commercialism at this time of year. That's why from the minute we had children I've I dusted that they make their own presents, take time s s think about the person and that this is a time of being together. To make the food together and fiend time together. I live this time of year hit its all too easy being caught up in its frenzy. Happy tidings to you x
ReplyDeleteI have always wanted to go to Glastonbury so thank you for sharing, I needed that... X

Hi marina
ReplyDeleteLovely pic of the Tor from that perspective. I'm lucky enough to be able to see it from my village... the best time is frosty clear mornings when it sparkles like the magical place it is.
Health & happiness to you and yours for 2016

Stunning place...so peaceful. Happy New Year doll, I hope you have a great one and your Christmas was marvellous xx
ReplyDeleteYes, very true! Christmas has lost it's meaning, I's gone crazy. My husband is a postman who also delivers parcels as we live on an island, and he now hates christmas as it's gone too crazy. I love walking in the fresh air too, it recharges your batteries and helps to put the world right!
ReplyDeleteHappy New Year Xx
