Under a big sky

The week had not been without trial and tribulation
and a few challenges.

They cannot escape, but, for a while,
the beach was theirs alone.

To roam in silence,
finding sea strewn treasure.

Dancing with lapping waters.

Eating in the shelter of bleached rock, in fading light ...

under a big November sky.
Each problem seemed a little smaller,
each challenge a little more achievable ...

Hope you had a large French stick with that!

And, you can't beat photos of the shoreline, and the sea...Coming together in any shade of light!

  20. Mmm. I love it. You'd think (living in Florida) we'd have a few more evenings like that, but I think in the 5 years we've lived here I've only been to the beach about 4 times--and 3 of those were when we had company from out of town. Way to get out and enjoy it!
