What a day ...

... they had at the Vintage at the Village Hall Pop-up Fair,
in the lovely town of Blandford
An array of artfully arranged goodies set up outside by
Lizzie - The Washerwoman and several others,
tempting buyers into the imposing Corn Exchange,
the fantastic venue chosen by organiser Elaine of Ted and Bunny.
All of the stalls were beautiful,
with creative displays, offering something for every lover of vintage.
The doors opened at 10am and the waiting queue soon filled the hall.
Cards by VJ

VJ chatted with old friends and new ...
including the lovely duo Lazy Daisy and Vanilla Squirrel,
and the irrepressible 'Willie', dressed to impress and full of fun ...
(thank you so much for my DVD Willie!)
She also met the gorgeous and talented Kelly-Marie,
whose ethereally beautiful blog, 'A Harem of Peacocks',
was one VJ's first favoured blogs and has remained a firm favourite ever since.
Truly original cushions, softies, bags and brooches made by Swimmer
VJ fell for a cute little croc that will be delivered to a friend's little boy at Christmastime.
Jelly Jam's stand was awash with her trademark pretty pastel makes.
Amazing textile artist Willapark showcasing fabulous little textile collages
Pearl Lowe was signing her new book,
the crochet workshop was very popular
and lots of cakes were provided by the busy ladies in the tea shop.
Vintage Jones with an eclectic mix of gardenalia and Autumnal themed goodies.

There were so many other wonderful stalls,
but sadly not enough time to take photos of them all.

Thank you so much for organising such a wonderful fair Elaine.

  24. Hi Marina - thanks for your comment on Birthday Boy. Sorry that I didn't get to Elaine's fair. I was really disappointed because I had to cancel as we were double booked with a two day fair of G's. And now I'm unexpectedly in Australia visiting and helping out with family over here so had to cancel another two fairs. But I shall be at North Cadbury in November - never fear!Cx
