Watering can in hand ...

... tasting the scent of sun on warmed earth,
... as she drenches parched plants with cool water.
Evening birdsong follows her path.
A Scarlet Tiger moth alights and sits awhile.
A mightier beast thunders by,
performing acrobatics for a nearby show.

  7. Wow, your first watering can photo brought back memories, the smell of hot metal in the sun and baking earth and bare feet. Lovely. And I love the moth on your hand, nature is drawn to you! The moth and the jet look the same.

  16. Marina,

Gorgeous butterfly! How is your weather there? Is it hot? We are all waiting to hear the news of Kate and Williams new addition. A boy or girl? What do you think?

How are you and is Mattie enjoying the summer? It has been raining here a lot lately. People tell us it is not usually normal to have this much rain. We've been walking in between rain drops. :-)
